STEPHEN MINISTRY
God has commanded us to carry one another's burdens. Stephen Ministry is one effective way we seek to carry out His command. Stephen Ministry provides one-to-one care to individuals 18 years and older who are experiencing many kinds of difficult life transitions, losses, or grief. Stephen Ministers receive 50 hours of initial training as well as continuing education and peer supervision. Our church has trained dozens of Stephen Ministers and they have been providing care to our congregation for over 20 years. They have stood alongside many members providing distinctively Christian care.

PASTORAL CARE

WEDDING + MARRIAGE PREP
If you’re thinking about getting married or recently engaged - congratulations! We want to come alongside you as you prepare for this life-long commitment and help give you the best possible start.
Premarital counseling is conducted by our staff. We utilize the "Prepare" Inventory from Life Innovations, Inc. as our assessment tool and use it as a framework in our biblically-based feedback sessions. Normally we conduct five feedback sessions. More time may be given to couples forming a new step-family.

CRISIS CARE
Death & Funerals : If you have experienced the loss of a family member, submit a notice to our church office or contact us at (562) 596-1605.
Hospitalization: Trained, caring members of our pastoral ministry team are available to visit for prayer and encouragement if someone you know is hospitalized. Contact the church office at info@gracesealbeach.org or (562) 596-1605 to inform us of care needs.
SUPPORT GROUPS
Grace hosts a variety of support groups throughout the week, including AA, OA, SA, and CODA. For scheduling questions, contact the church office at info@gracesealbeach.org.
