GETTING STARTED...


   - Generally our facilities are not available for outside pastors. Exceptions may be allowed with staff approval.

   - Funerals/Memorials are subject to the availability of the facility and personnel. 

   - Our maximum seating capacity is 250

   - Not all rooms are air-conditioned


MUSIC, SOUND AND MEDIA


   - The officiating pastor must approve all music

   - If you are in need of a pianist, soloist or organist, the church can provide one, when available, for a fee.

   - A sound technician can be available for the service at they are able to provide microphones for soloist and the minister.

   - Approved CD's can be played before, during, and after, which have been provided by the family.

   - Powerpoint presentations need to be cleared with the officiating minister.

   - All media needs to be given to the church office/media operator at least 2 days before the event.

   - You are responsible for creating the media presentation.


RECEPTION


   - The reception should start within a half-hour after the conclusion of the memorial if here on campus.

   - The custodian will set up the tables and chairs the way the family would like for the reception.

   - If you will be using sound equipment for the reception, a sound technician will be needed for its set up.

   - The family may provide prerecorded music to be played as background music after it has been approved.

   - Since the church does have neighbors, we ask that the music not be too loud.

   - All lyrics shall be appropriate for a gathering at the church.


RECEPTION DO'S AND DON'TS


   - We ask that red punch not be served; it will stain the carpet if spilled.

   - Only designated people are permitted in the kitchen area.

   - Please leave all rooms that are used the way they were found.



IMPORTANT ODDS AND ENDS


   - We have many items available for your use during the ceremony (contact the church office for specifics)

   - Tables and chairs available

   - It is acceptable and appreciated if you wish to leave a floral arrangement from the service for our Sunday worship services.

   - There is no smoking in the church facilities at any time and you must be at least 25 feet away from the building.

   - No alcoholic beverages are permitted on church property.

   - The church is not responsible for any items used at the facilities that do not belong to the church.

   - The church office is available to create and print a small program for you, at an additional cost.
