ONGOING GROUPS

Mentoring: Doing Life Together

The best way for mentoring relationships to occur is naturally. However, for women who need assistance, applications are available and women will be prayerfully paired for mentoring. Women can spend structured or unstructured time together for various durations and frequency. Email, texting, face time and Skype could also be utilized for convenience. Titus 2:3-5 tells us why the older women should teach the younger women: so that the word of God may not be reviled. The world is watching and women represent God to the world. We need each other for support and friendship. if you are interested in being a mentor or in being mentored, contact Sue FowlerClick here to print an application.

Men's Ministry

ONGOING GROUPS

Men's Breakfast Fellowship

On the first Saturday of the month at 8:30 am we have a men's breakfast at Malainey's Grill (formally known as Malarkey's Grill in the Alamitos Bay landing, just across the bridge from Seal Beach into Long Beach). There's a special speaker, Q&A, and lots of bacon.

Come join us for insights, fellowship, hot coffee and breakfast on the bay.  Please call Preston Barr (714-866-9779) if you plan to attend so the restaurant can plan accordingly or contact Bob Wissmann (562-889-2728) if there are any questions.

The next Men's Breakfast will take place on November 3. Jason Ricafranca, our Director of High School Ministry will be sharing with us his journey and calling.  Jason has a unique testimony and we are richly blessed that he and Annie have come to our church.   Jason will also be sharing his insights on how men within the church can mentor and encourage the young men in his ministry.   We have much to learn from Jason and look forward to him challenging us to be impactful men of faith.
